Richard “Mark” Elam, 32, of Stahlstown, and formerly of Berea, Ky., died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004, in Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant. He is survived by his wife, Justina Hoffer Elam; son, Justin Elam of Tampa, Fla.; and maternal grandparents, Vaughn and Flossie Barger of Berea, Ky.

Friends will be received at Eugene G. Saloom Funeral Service Inc., 730 W. Main St., Mount Pleasant, today until 1 p.m., the hour of the service.
