Betty Ann Hawkinberry Woody, age 74, of Point Marion, Pa., passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2004, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia. She was born December 9, 1930, in Morgantown, West Virginia, daughter of Lonnie and Dessell (Vannoy) Hawkinberry.

Betty was a member of Point Marion Apostolic Church for many years.

Her husband, William Edward Woody Sr., two sisters, two brothers, and parents preceded her in death.

She is survived by one daughter, Rose Sapp, and three sons, John Hawkinberry, Frank Puzella and William “Ed” Woody all of Point Marion; 14 Grandchildren: Debra Hawkinberry, Heather Hawkinberry, Michelle Greenawalt, Dana DiNunno, Keith Clegg Jr., Jamie Sapp, Tina Lincoln, Frank Lincoln, Carrie Puzella, Jeremy Puzella, Ricky Miller, Apryldawn Miller, Jordan Woody and Leah Rose Woody; four Great Grandchildren: Kelsey Hawkinberry, Devin Brown, Marcus DiNunno III and Craig Walters; three brothers and six sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the LOUIS E. RUDOLPH FUNERAL HOME, 15 Main Street, Pont Marion, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Visitation continues Friday, December 24, in POINT MARION APOSTOLIC CHURCH from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Services begin at 11 a.m. with Bishop David Lee Corob officiating.

Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion.
