Stella (Amurri) Mihota, 86, of Ruther Glen, Va., died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004. She was born December 4, 1918, daughter of the late Phillip and Santina (Ezzi) Amurri.

She was a self-employed beautician, and was also a member of Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Leckrone, Pa.

Preceding her in death are her husband, John S. Mihota, Sr., on May 20, 1983; and a brother, Joseph Amurri.

Surviving are her son, John D. Mihota and his wife Valerie, Fredrickburg, Va.; sister, Ella Monar, Masontown, Pa.; her brothers, Elmer Amurri, Baltimore, Md. and Gino Amurri; and three grandsons, Anthony, Vincent and Louis Mihota, all of Fredrickburg, Va.

Friends will be received at the JOHN S. MAYKUTH, JR., FUNERAL HOME, Masontown, Pa., Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004 from 2 to 9 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Saint Mary’s R.C. Church, Leckrone, with Fr. Donald P. Trexler officiating. Interment will be at Saint Mary’s, Leckrone.
