Stella (Amurri) Mihota, age 86, of 120 Lander Drive, Ruther Glen, Virginia, died Wednesday, December 22, 2004.

She was born December 4, 1918, in Pennsylvania, the daughter of Phillip and Santina (Ezzi) Amurri.

She was a self-employed beautician and a member of Saint Mary’s (Our Lady of Perpetual Help) Roman Catholic Church in Leckrone, Pa.

Preceding her in death were her husband, John S. Mihota Sr. on May 20, 1983, a brother, Joseph Amurri, and parents.

Surviving are her son, John D. Mihota and his wife, Valerie, of Fredericksburg, Virginia; a sister, Ella Molnar of Masontown, Pa.; two brothers: Elmer Amurri of Baltimore, Maryland, and Gino Amurri; and three grandsons: Anthony Mihota, Vincent Mihota and Louis Mihota all of Fredericksburg, Va.

Friends will be received at the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church at 7 River Avenue, Masontown, Pa., today from 2 to 9 p.m. where a Prayer Service will be held Monday, December 27, at 10:30 a.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 11 a.m. in Saint Mary’s (Our Lady of Perpetual Help) Roman Catholic Church, Leckrone, with Rev. Father Donald P. Trexler as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Leckrone.
