Hanlon earns chiropractic degree

Dr. Michael E. Hanlon received his chiropractic degree recently during commencement exercises at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Hanlon is the son of Kirk and Sandy Hanlon of Connellsville and the grandson of A.J. Palankey and the late Betty Palankey and the late Mark and Sadie Hanlon of Connellsville.

He currently resides in Connellsville.

In January, he will begin his practice at the Bishopbriggs Chiropractic Clinic in Glasgow, Scotland.

A member of the Palmer College of Chiropractic Rugby Club, he will play for the GHA Rugby Club in the Scottish Premiership Division.

Palmer College is the founding college of the chiropractic profession.

Palmer was established as the first chiropractic college by Daniel David Palmer in 1897.
