Juanita N. Boone, 84, of Uniontown, Pa., formerly of Greensboro, Pa., died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004, in the Horizon Personal Care Home, Fairchance, Pa. She was born Oct. 17, 1920, in Greensboro, Pa., a daughter of the late Alex Neino and Violet Henline Neino Pratt.

Also preceding her in death were her husband, Harold V. Boone Sr.; a brother, John Neino; and a sister, Gloria Dean.

Mrs. Boone was a former employee of Duquesne Light, and was a Protestant by faith.

Surviving are a son, Harold V. Boone Jr., and his wife, Carol of McKeesport, Pa.; a daughter, Sherry Lynne Garden and her husband, Terrance of Uniontown, Pa.; a granddaughter, Terra Garden; two grandsons, Ted and Troy Boone; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Alex Neino and his wife, Evelyn of Greensboro, Pa.; and a sister, Betty Bryant and her husband, Robert of Moultrie, Ga.

Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Wednesday until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Wayne Sawyer officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Hill Cemetery, Greensboro, Pa. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Parkinson’s Disease Association, 490 East North Ave., Suite 500, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
