Eleanor “Sis” J. Kremposky
Eleanor “Sis” J. Kremposky, 82, of Thompson No. 1, Pa., died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, in Forbes Hospice, Pittsburgh, Pa., after a very difficult battle with congestive heart and kidney failure. She was born Dec. 5, 1922, in Bessemer, Pa., a daughter of the late Joseph and Eleanor Hower.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Republic, Pa. Sis mostly enjoyed spending time with her family, the joy of her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. (Jellybean) Kremposky in October of 1991; a brother, Elmer F. Hower in August 1998; and her daughter, Barb’s fianc?, Stephen Yantko Jr., in June 2004.
Surviving are her daughters, Eleanor Kremposky Wilkes and her husband, George William of Greensburg, Pa., and Barbara Kremposky Kish of New Salem, Pa.; her brother, Raymond Hower and his wife, Marge of Smithfield, Pa.; her sisters, Anna Pearl Dunham and her husband, Kenneth of Ashtabula, Ohio, and Martha Batis of Masontown, Pa. She is also survived by her grandchildren, William David Wilkes and his wife, Tammie, Brenda Wilkes Kempton and her husband, Todd of Columbus, Ohio, Rochelle Stewart and her companion, Mike Siesky of Uniontown, Pa., Christine Leisenring and her husband, Jeff of Akron, Ohio, and Barbara Garden Forcier; her very precious great-grandchildren, Jessica Broadwater, Ryan Stewart and Tyler Leisenring and David Lee and Raven Forcier.
Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME INC., Legion Street, Republic, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, until 9:30 a.m., when a Prayer Service will be held. A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m., in Holy Rosary Church, with the Rev. Fr. Stephen Bugay as Celebrant. Entombment will be in Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa. A Parish Wake Service will be held on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
