Augusta Caroline Koch (Cook) Goodwin, 90, of Eighty Four, Pa., went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 1, 2004. She was born September 15, 1913 in Little Brownfield, Fayette County, Pa.

Mrs. Goodwin was a lifetime member of The Church of The Brethren.

She was predeceased by her parents, Otto Koch and Margaret Herring Koch Glover, her devoted husband of 68 years, Arthur R. Goodwin, a grandson, Robert Cooper, two great grandsons, Michael and Jason Frankenbery, two great-great grandsons, and a son-in-law, Lee Frankenbery Sr.

Surviving are four loving children: Margaret “Maggie” Frankenbery of Uniontown, Pa., N. Fay Frankenbery and her husband Lowell of Eighty Four, Pa., Robert “Bob” Goodwin and his wife Janice of Farmington, Pa., and Nancy Goodwin of Houston, Pa.; 13 grandchildren whom she loved: Lee Frankenbery Jr. and his wife Carol, Debra Blanc and her husband Jim, Robert Goodwin Jr. and his wife Darla, Bonnie Nesser and her husband Steve, Barb Unice, Bruce Goodwin and his wife Cheryl all of Uniontown, Pa., Robert Frankenbery and his wife Connie of Crownsville, Maryland, Kenneth Frankenbery of Aliquippa, Pa., David Frankenbery and his wife Tina of Custer, South Dakota, William Goodwin and his wife Heather of Charleroi, Pa., Becky Ennis and her husband Kirk of Philadelphia, new York, Kimberly Cooper of Brigantine, New Jersey, and Shaun Cooper and his wife Amanda of Washington, Pa.; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; three sisters: Zelma O’Neal and Sally Stump both of Uniontown, Pa., and Garnet Hamilton and her husband Tom of Hopwood, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, May 4, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with Pastor Harrison Smith of the Uniontown Church of The Brethren officiating.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
