Edna M. Bricker Abel, 63, of Smithfield, Pa., died Saturday, May 1, 2004 in Uniontown Hospital. She was born June 21, 1940 in Fairchance, Pa., daughter of Herbert Bricker and Myrtle Hostetler Bricker.

Edna was predeceased by an infant sister, Norma Jean Bricker, a brother, Frederick W. Bricker, and her parents.

Surviving are her husband, Raymond T. Abel Jr.; two children: Patty Metts and Jonathan Abel both of Smithfield, Pa.; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters: Mrs. James (Betty) Ansell of Fairchance, Pa., and Mrs. John Robert (Marlene) Dice of Smithfield, Pa.; and a brother, Ronald R. Bricker of Masontown, West Virginia.

There will be no public visitation.

Interment will be private.

Arrangements are under direction of the GOLDSBORO-TOMI FUNERAL HOME, 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, Pa.
