Applause!
The education council of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce honored Erin Prah from Uniontown, a junior at Laurel Highlands High School, as student of the month for March. The daughter of Anthony and Barbara Prah, she is undecided which post-secondary school she will attend, but her major will be in communications and advertising.
She has gained work experience as a hostess and waitress at a local restaurant. She shows community involvement volunteering as a youth minister for her church’s children’s liturgy and as an aide for their Bible school. She also plays the piano at area churches.
Prah is a member of the math club, the Junior Engineering Technical Society the marching band and stage crew. She has earned the National English Merit Award and a history award from the University of Rochester.
