Frances M. Wiley
Frances M. Wiley, 79, of Bobtown, Pa., died Wednesday, May 12, 2004, in Mt. Macrina Manor in Uniontown. Born May 3, 1925, in Morgantown, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna H. Thomas.
She was a graduate of St. Frances High School in Morgantown, and was one of the original employees at Chico Dairy. She was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church in Bobtown, and she enjoyed playing bingo in her spare time.
Surviving are two daughters and their husbands, Carole Ann and Gary Bukowski of Carmichaels, and Barbara and Richard Mulcahy of Oakton, Va.; a son, Thomas E. Wiley of Bobtown; six grandchildren, Kimberly Parker of Carmichaels, Melanie Miller and Jennifer Bukowski, both of Germantown, Md., and Maureen, Richard and Bethany Mulcahy, all of Oakton; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Thomas of Columbus, Ohio; and two sisters, Genevieve Ference of Morgantown, and Betty Brooks of Northbrook, Ill.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Eugene Wiley on May 3 1987; a brother, Edward Thomas; and a sister, Marguerite “Sonny” Lovio.
Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, today from 5 to 8 p.m., and Saturday until 9:15 a.m., when a prayer service will be held, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., in St. Ignatius R.C. Church, with the Rev. Fr. Lawrence V. Holpp as celebrant. Interment will be in East Oak Grove Cemetery, Morgantown. A Parish Vigil Service will be held today at 7:45 p.m., in the funeral home.
