WASHINGTON – Gold Wing riders from Fayette, Washington, Greene, Westmoreland and Allegheny counties will be hosting a Bike and Trike Show this Sunday at Crown Center Mall in Washington. Chapter E of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, covering the five counties in southwestern Pennsylvania, will host the show from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Last year’s event attracted 48 chapter members who displayed their bikes, trikes, trailers and sidecars for 12,000-15,000 people.

Chapter E is based in Belle Vernon and meets on the first Sunday of the month at 9 a.m. at the Belle Vernon Holiday Inn. The Gold Wing Road Riders Association is a family-oriented, non-profit, non-denominational, non-political organization of Honda Gold Wing and Valkyrie owners and riders whose motto is “Friends for Fun, Safety and Knowledge.”

The group sponsors an annual charity ride, benefiting various area organizations. This year’s charity ride will benefit the Crime Victims Center of Fayette County. The group also works with other charitable organizations to raise funds and it raises money to provide Christmas for several needy families in the area each year.
