Woman charged
According to Masontown Borough Police, charges were filed against Patricia Vanderbilt, 40, of Masontown before District Justice Brenda Cavalcante for simple assault, harassment, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct after an incident that occurred at 12 p.m. Friday.
Police alleged Vanderbilt attacked her estranged husband, Allen Vanderbilt, 40, of Masontown at his 1 Bowman Ave. home, causing injuries to his face and ears. Police said Allen Vanderbilt fled the scene and was followed by his wife to the borough building where she allegedly crashed her vehicle into his vehicle and smashed the windows with a baseball bat.
Patricia Vanderbilt was placed in the Fayette County Prison in lieu of $1,000 bond and EMS Southwest treated Allen Vanderbilt at the scene for his injuries, police said.

Gasoline stolen
State police said a white man driving a blue 1989 sedan stole gasoline from the Dairy Mart along Dixon Boulevard May 9 at 2:20 p.m.
Dunbar
Windows broken
Bonnie Shawley of Dunbar told state police that someone broke the windows of her vehicle as it was parked along Short Street at 12:30 a.m. Friday.

Trimmer stolen
According to state police, a black string trimmer and a gasoline can owned by Linda McGregor of Uniontown were stolen from her Brownfield Road residence between 2 p.m. May 8 and 4 a.m. Tuesday.

One-car crash
State police said no one was injured when a vehicle operated by Heather Beachy of Perryopolis struck a guide rail along Interstate 70 at 6:32 p.m. Saturday.

Dogs stolen
Joyce Ray of Isabella told state police that someone stole four pit bull-akita puppies and five adult pit bull dogs from her Arensburg road home Saturday at 1 p.m.
