Mary K. Obrovac Rabatin
Mary K. (Obrovac) Rabatin, beloved Mother and Sister, age 83, of Peoria, Arizona, and formerly of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2004, in Sun City, Arizona. She was born June 4, 1920, in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of Mile Obrovac and Mary (Sabatula) Obrovac.
Her husband, Stephen J. Rabatin, passed away on November 11, 1993. Also deceased are brothers, George and Mike Obrovac, sisters, Dorothy Obrovac O’Lone and Barbara Obrovac, two infant siblings, and her parents.
She is survived by her son, A. J. Rabatin and wife Ruth O’Sullivan of West Chicago, Illinois; a brother, Frank Obrovac of Uniontown, Pa.; two sisters: Anna Lalakulich of Uniontown, Pa., and Christine Murin and husband Frank of Uniontown, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC. AT SYLVAN HEIGHTS CEMETERY, 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., on Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Friday, May 21, until 10 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fr. Micah E. Kozoil officiating.
Interment will follow in Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to The Sisters of Saint Basil The Great (Saint Basil’s Home) at Mount Saint Macrina, 520 West Main Street, Uniontown, PA 15401.
