South Connellsville Equine services offered
Nicole Provance has announced the formation of “Rubs and Nickers,” in South Connellsville, a center for equine sports massage and therapy. Provance has successfully completed certification requirements for this original program offered by Equissage Inc.
Massage therapy is commonly employed to enhance sports performance in human athletes and assist the horse in reaching its fullest potential.
Certification training concentrates on the theory of massage therapy and its benefits, as well as hands-on experience applying the techniques on high performance horses.
Founded in 1989, Equissage & Associates presently works with many top owners and trainers at racetracks and show barns throughout the country and at their training complex in Round Hill in the heart of Virginia horse country. President and founder of Equissage is Mary Schreiber.

Community Bank, National Association in Greene, Washington and Allegheny counties board of directors has approved a dividend payment of 19 cents per share for shareholders of record as of June 10. The dividend will be payable on June 21.

Hutchison new trainer at stable
Lois J. Minnick, president of Deerfield Stables Inc., has announced that Christy Hutchison is the new trainer/instructor at 487 Bethelboro Road, Uniontown.
Hutchison promotes the classical methods of training horses and riders to create a unified team. This training technique is practiced in all riding disciplines and riding levels that include English and Western.
Hutchison has been riding horses for 25 years. She has been a professional instructor, trainer, breeder and judge for 15 years.
She is certified riding instructor with CHA, The Association of Horsemanship, Safety and Education.
Hutchison has worked with national and international horses, trainers, and instructors; along with 4-H and handicapped riding programs.
