Orville Thomas Sr., age 77, of Atlas, Fayette County, Pa., passed Friday morning, May 21, 2004, in the Uniontown Hospital.

He was born December 11, 1926, in Hopwood, Pa., son of William M. Thomas and Dora Bryant Thomas.

Orville worked with Custodial Maintenance for the Uniontown Schools.

He was predeceased by his parents, two children, brother and sisters.

Surviving are his wife, Mauvelyn; four children: Dorice, Orville Jr., Keith and Christine; Brothers and Sister: Herman, Nancy, Jack and Charles; Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Friends will be received in the MURIEL E. LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 East Main Street, Uniontown, Pa., on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. where Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 25, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Robert Crable and Rev. Leonard Tucker officiating.

Interment follows in Thomas Cemetery, Hopwood, Pa.
