Angelo B. Cocciardi
Angelo B. Cocciardi, 73, of Farmington, Pa., passed away Thursday, May 20, 2004 peacefully at home.
He was born March 5, 1931 in Oliver, Pa., son of the late Michael and Maria Cocciardi.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by a brother Anthony and a sister Mary.
Surviving are his loving wife of 48 years, Thelma Jenkins Cocciardi; three children: Michael Cocciardi and wife Wanda of York, Pa., Angela Myers and husband Gary of Farmington, David Cocciardi and wife Bethany of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren who he was very proud of Amanda, Joshua, Jeremy, Andrew and Matthew; one great granddaughter Macey who was precious to him; one sister, Pauline Rabatin of West Bridgewater, Pa.; and one brother, Michael Cocciardi of Alamogordo, N.M.
He was retired from Rockwell International with 33 years of service, a graduate of North Union High School, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post #51 Uniontown and the Uniontown B.P.O. Elks #370. He was an avid Golfer, card player and loved to spend time with his family.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pa., today (Monday, May 24) until 11 a.m., the hour of the service with Rev. Terry Collins officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
Visitation was also held Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
