Charles C. “Mike” Speelman Jr.
Charles C. “Mike” Speelman Jr., 49, of Hopwood, Pa., passed away Monday, May 24, 2004, at his home. He was born Aug. 9, 1954, in Connellsville, Pa., son of Mary Ellen Hair Speelman of Dunbar, and the late Charles C. Speelman Sr.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a sister, Bobbi Jean Gilpin.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, is his wife, Jaquelyn Maruniak Speelman; and two children, Rachael and Michael Speelman of Uniontown.
Mike was the owner and operator of Advanced Microsystems.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Thursday until 9 a.m., in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m., in St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, with the Rev. Fr. William J. Keil as celebrant. Parish wake services will be held on Wednesday at 3:45 p.m., in the funeral home.
