Lawrence G. “Boz” Sobray, 81, of 221 Kennedy Ave., Masontown, Pa., died Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at 9 a.m., at his residence. He was born Sept. 14, 1922, in Masontown, Pa., son of the late Frank Sobray Marazsky and Anna (Pasko) Marazsky.

Lawrence was a body man at Fike’s Chevrolet of Masontown, Pa.

He was a member of Masontown American Legion Post No. 423 and VFW Post 4584, and All Saints Roman Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II as a Private.

Surviving are two sisters, Blanche Urban of Gary, Ind., and Viola Drozdale of Hobart, Ind.; four brothers, Stanley and wife, Madge Marazsky of Dover, Ohio, Richard and wife, Rita Marazsky of Parma, Ohio, Joseph and wife, Grace Marazsky of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Ronald and wife, Joann Marazsky of Uniontown, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, on Friday, May 28, 2004, from 3 to 8 p.m., where services will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2004, at 11 a.m., in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Fr. James F. Bump officiating. Interment will follow in Saint Agnes Cemetery, Masontown, Pa. Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home by Masontown VFW and American Legion.
