Mary E. Firestone
Mary E. Hatfield Firestone, 81, of Woods Road, Scottdale, (Upper Tyrone Township), passed away at 8:20 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 5, 2004, in Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant. Mary will be sadly missed by her loving family: her four daughters, Linda A. Dziurzynski of Everson, Edna Cox and husband, Ronald of Scottdale, Diana Kasiewicz and husband, Walter of White, and Blanche Papier and husband, Ignatius “Buck” of Connellsville; her four sons, Clarence “Tom” Firestone of Everson, George Firestone of Connellsville and companion, Margaret, Willard Firestone and wife, Catherine of Tyngsboro, Mass., and Richard Lee Firestone of Owensdale; 23 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Judy Firestone of Scottdale; a sister, Minnie M. Zebley of Connellsville; a brother, Henry A. Hatfield and wife, Caroline of Tampa, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews; and her pet dogs, Cocoa and Pretty.
Family and friends will be received on Monday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and 4 to 9 p.m., in the Robert B. Ferguson Funeral Home, 105 Spring St., Scottdale. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Memorials may be made to the Westmoreland Blind Association, 911 South Main St., Greensburg, PA 15601, in memory of Mary E. Firestone.
