Thurman “Skip” Pounds, 85, of Stuart, Fla., and formerly of Point Marion, Pa., died Monday, Oct. 11, 2004, in his home. Surviving are his son, Richard E. Pounds of Stuart, Fla.; a granddaughter, Shannon Marie Pounds of Orlando, Fla.; and a sister, Mrs. Walter (Marjorie) Wrana of Point Marion.

Friends will be received in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the hour of a Memorial Service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Albert Gallatin Hospice, 20 Highland Park Dr., Uniontown, PA 15401.
