Dea Santini, 84, of California, Pa., died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2004. She was born June 10, 1920, in Avacelli, Italy, a daughter of the late Louis and Enrica (Corinaldesi) Santini.

In addition to her parents, Dea was preceded in death by brothers, Constantine Santini, Louis Santini Jr., and an infant brother.

Left to cherish her memory are her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Frances Santini of Nashville, Tenn.; and sisters-in-law, Pauline Santini of California, Pa., and Drucilla Santini of Roscoe, Pa. She also leaves behind eight nieces and nephews; 14 great-nieces and nephews; and 12 great-great-nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor,, 323 Fourth St., California, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m., in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, with Father Mark Skertich officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 135 South College St., Washington, PA 15301.
