Antoinette D. “Pete” Ohler
Antoinette D. “Pete” Ohler, 73, of Connellsville, Pa., died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, in Mount Macrina Manor, Uniontown. She was born May 2, 1931, in Old Bethany, a daughter of the late James V. and Rose DePalma Rozell.
She was a 1947 graduate of the former East Huntingdon Township High School, and she attended Laurel Business Institute.
“Pete” was formerly employed at Connellsville Sportswear, and she also was employed by the Connellsville Area School District as a calling clerk. She also worked as a secretary for the street department for the City of Connellsville.
She was a member of St. Rita’s Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Vernon B. Ohler in 1978; five brothers, Dominic, John, William, Frank and Daniel Rozell; and two sisters, Mary Sirianni and Romayne Stansak.
She is survived by one daughter, Nancy L. Shultz and her husband, Kenneth D. of Connellsville; one son, Vernon E. Ohler and his wife, Kristin of Connellsville; six grandchildren, Chad E. King, Cassandra King and Stuart, Jessica, Madison and Nicholas Ohler; four stepgrandchildren, Carla Shultz, Leslie Shultz, Kenneth M. Shultz and Julie Shultz; three stepgreat-grandchildren; two sisters, Louise Schultz and her husband, Lawrence of Munhall, and Rose Pikovsky and her husband, Robert of Mount Pleasant; and one brother, Ronald Rozell and his wife, Carmie of Connellsville.
