Three vehicles crash
Vehicles driven by Wendell E. Myers of Markleysburg, Janet Lee Swaney of Smock and Alan Glisan of Farmington were involved in a three-vehicle accident Saturday at the intersection of Route 40 and Hawes Road, according to Wharton Township police. Police said Swaney and a passenger in her vehicle, April L. Bryson of Smock, were taken to Uniontown Hospital for treatment.

Driver stopped
State police said driver Jeremy S. Novak, 21, of Newell was stopped on Route 201 Saturday for driving a vehicle without operating its lights.

Harassment logged
State police said three people – Frank J. Koon IV, Theresa Koon and Candace Wasylik, all of Grindstone – were cited for harassment Friday after engaging in an argument that allegedly escalated into threats and a physical confrontation.

State police said someone broke the storm door window on the LaBelle Road residence of John Wallace on Wednesday.

Wayne Martin, 53, told borough police tools were stolen from his Ford pickup truck while the vehicle was parked outside his West Church Avenue home Tuesday night.

Vehicle stolen
John Maykuth of Field Street told borough police his 1996 Ford Explorer was stolen when parked outside Maykuth’s Funeral Home on West Church Avenue Wednesday night. Police later recovered the vehicle wrecked into a tree in the Masontown-German Park.

Borough police cited Rose Rafail, 33, of 4 River Ave. and two teenaged juveniles for harassment after an alleged large disturbance on Ross Street Wednesday night.
