John W. (Red) Walters

John William (Red) Walters, 57, of Auburn, Wash., and formerly of Uniontown, Pa., passed away suddenly on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004. He was born July 30, 1947, in Uniontown, Pa., son of the late George (Red) Walters and Jo Anna Walters Altamare, who survives.

John was a 1965 graduate of Uniontown High School, and was employed as an air traffic controller with Boeing in Washington.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by three children, Lori, James and Jody; a brother, Jim (Buck) Walters and his wife, Joyce of Hopwood; sisters, Gloria Brashear and her husband, Jim of Macungie, Pa., Judy McClain and her husband, Larry of Jacksonville, Fla., and Pat Goettel and her husband, Jeff of Monongahela, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.

Private services were held in Washington on Nov. 9, 2004.
