Carl S. Fasulkey
Carl S. Fasulkey, 78, of Uniontown, died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, in Cherry Tree Nursing Home. He was born August 29, 1926, in Republic, Pa., son of the late Mitchell M. and Anna M. (Duyava) Fasulkey.
Carl served his country proudly during World War II as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of VFW Post 47, and American Legion Post 51, both of Uniontown.
Carl was a clerk for the U.S. Post Office for 15 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Helen M. (Veshinfsky) Fasulkey; his two sons, Carl Michael (Micky) Fasulkey and his wife Luana of Orlando, Fla. and Kevin A. Fasulkey and his wife Julia of Lemont Furnace; three grandchildren, Lisa, Ryan and Taren; one great-grandson, Alezander; and a brother, Robert Fasulkey of Spottsville, Va.
Friends will be received in the STPEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., a Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Avenue Ext., Uniontown, today form 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, until 10 a.m., when a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Fr. Thomas J. Wesdock of Saint John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church officiating. Military honors will be accorded by Amvets Post 103 of Hopwood, Pa. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery. Parastas will be held Friday at 7 p.m.
