Dorothy Reed, 73, of McClellandtown, Pa., died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, in her home. She was born April 16, 1931, in Edenborn, Pa., daughter of the late White Law and Mary Moses Law.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Burden.

Surviving are her husband, Theodore Reed; one daughter, Mary L. Davis White of Edenborn, Pa.; one sister, Estelle M. Mosley of Edenborn, Pa.; two stepdaughters, Mamie Larrydale of Uniontown, Pa., and Rose Mosley of Edenborn; four grandchildren, Milton Dewayne Burden of Downington, Pa., Jerry Burden of Virginia Beach, Va., Darnell Burden of St. Mary’s, Ga., and Jabarin White of Orlando, Fla.; 12 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends will be received in the LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 East Main St., Uniontown, Pa., on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, from 10 a.m. until noon, the hour of service, with the Rev. Cynthia McBeth officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
