A total of 52 area restaurants have joined forces with the Uniontown Hospital Auxiliary to offer the 2004 restaurant coupon booklet.

Excellent gifts and stocking stuffers, the booklet contains coupons offering yearlong discounts at local eateries. Savings include two meals for the price of one and buy-one-get-one-half-off dinners.

Participating restaurants include Amy Lynn’s Restaurant, Angelina’s Piccolo, Becker’s Shadyside Restaurant, Belmont Inn, Benders Pit Stop, Blue Moon Cafe, Boston Beanery, Braddock Inn Restaurant, Bruster’s Ice Cream, Caddy Shack, Caileigh’s of Uniontown, Coal Baron Restaurant, Darby’s Pub, Dannie’s Place Restaurant, Denny’s Restaurant, Dolfi’s Restaurant, Don Tequilla, Eddie’s Tavern, 857 Coffee Shop, Fabrizi’s Italian Restaurant, Flamingo’s Hollywood Steak House, Foothill Grille, Four Star Pizza, Fox’s Pizza Den, Highway Pizza Shop, Historic Summit Inn, Italian Oven, Judy Jean Pastry Shop, King of the Hill Restaurant, Lynn’s Dairy Queen, Marti’s Restaurant and Lounge, Meloni’s Restaurant, Monterrey Restaurant, Nemacolin Woodlands, Once Upon A Time Tea Room, Papa John’s Pizza, Torchlight, Phil’s Nite Club, Potter’s, River’s Edge Cafe, Sam’s Restaurant, Smithfield Diner, South Street Grille, Stemz A La’Carte, Sweeney’s Cafe & Pub, The Sun Porch Restaurant, Thompson House Restaurant, Twin Treats, Vance’s Diner, Yum Yum Tasty Donuts and Yum Yum Bagel Cafe.

“Our restaurant association is pleased to support and participate in the 2005 Restaurant Coupon Booklet fund-raiser, which supports Uniontown Hospital and its auxiliary,” said Wendy Allen, owner/manager of Braddock Inn Restaurant and president of the Laurel Highland Restaurant Association.

“We hope local residents take advantage of the savings and enjoy the fine dining and cuisine our area restaurants have to offer.”

Restaurant Coupon Booklets are available for $20 in the Uniontown Hospital’s main lobby from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The coupon booklets are also on sale during normal business hours at Jendral’s Pharmacy in Uniontown and at the Fayette Chamber of Commerce.

“We are pleased about the support from local restaurants and very appreciative of the support from area residents for the auxiliary projects that provide funds for the hospital’s purchase of patient care equipment and enhancement of hospital services,” said Anita Rotonto, chairman of the restaurant coupon booklet committee.

Volunteers making up the committee include Rosemary Jendral, co-chairwoman, and committee members Mary Smolley, Beverly Chipps, Sarah Conn, Mary Fornili and Patty Speshock.
