Frances R. Wrabel

Frances R. (Quarrick) Wrabel, 93, of Uniontown, Pa., died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, at Cherry Tree Nursing Home. She was born on March 29, 1911, in Oliver, Pa., a daughter of the now late Joseph J. Quarrick Sr., and Anna (Shivetts) Quarrick.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Wrabel, whom she married on July 22, 1950 in Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church; two brothers, Joseph Quarrick Jr., and Edward Quarrick; and a sister, Anna Mae Repa.

Frances was a member of Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, where she was the organist for 53 years, and a member of Saint Mary Confraternity of Christian Mothers, as well as the Catholic Ladies Sokol.

Frances enjoyed traveling and loved her dogs. She also enjoyed trips to Burger King to socialize with many friends.

Surviving are her nephews, Joseph Quarrick III and his wife, Kathryn of Dunbar, Pa., and Edward W. Quarrick and his wife, Barbara of Warren, Ohio; two great-nephews, Edward W. Quarrick Jr., and Brian J. Quarrick; and a great-niece, Gina M. Quarrick, all of Warren, Ohio.

Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, Pa., on Saturday from 9 until 11:45 a.m., when Prayers will be said. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m., in Saint Mary (Nativity) R.C. Church, Uniontown, with the Rev. Fr. Micah E. Kozoil as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
