Joseph Molenock
Joseph Molenock, 89, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, in Uniontown Hospital. He was born to the late John Molenock and Kathryn Kinnick Molenock on Feb. 21, 1915, in Uniontown, Pa.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Rhoda Jane Molenock; and four brothers and three sisters.
He graduated from Georges Township High School and the University of Pittsburgh. He worked at U.S. Steel Coal Division, Filbert Repair Shop as a welder for 20 years and at Fruehauf, until his retirement. Joe was also a member of Tent Presbyterian Church, UMWA District No. 2, Local 1319, and was a life member of the Hutchinson Sportsmen’s Club.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, SaValle (Sally) Hillard Molenock; a son, Joseph A. Molenock of Uniontown; a daughter, June Vicola of New Alexandria, Pa.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, Pa., where friends will be received on Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation continues on Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, from 10 until 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., in the funeral home, with Harry G. Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
