Caroline Pellish
Caroline Pellish, 91, of Connellsville, Pa., passed away Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, in Highlands Hospital. She was born May 22, 1913, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Paul and Catherine Cotterino.
She was a member of St. Rita Roman Catholic Church and its Christian Mothers Society.
Caroline retired from Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation, Carton Department, after 17 years of service.
She is survived by a daughter, Paula Pellish Gannon and her husband, Michael of Connellsville; the following grandchildren, Gregory Reshenberg and wife, Tamara of Uniontown, Leslee Reshenberg Malia and husband, Robert of Connellsville, Caroline Reshenberg Armstrong and husband, Neil of South Connellsville, and Kelley and Shane Gannon, both of Connellsville; great-grandchildren, Gregory and Liam Reshenberg of Uniontown, and Brennen and Allison Malia of Connellsville; a sister, Mary Ann Martin and husband, Irv of Connellsville; a brother, Anthony Cotterino of Timonium, Md.; brothers-in-law, John Jordan of Mount Pleasant, Frank Basinger of Connellsville, and Albert Pellish of Leisenring; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Catherine was predeceased by her husband, John Pellish; a daughter, Carol Pellish Reshenberg; sisters, Mary Margaret Beal, Rose Jordan and Elizabeth Basinger; and a brother, Joseph Cotterino.
Friends will be received in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 123 South First St., West Side Connellsville, on Monday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. A Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at 9:45 a.m., in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., in St. Rita R.C. Church, with the Rev. Fr. Frank Lesniowski as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Rita Cemetery. St. Rita Parish and its Christian Mothers will hold a Wake Service on Monday evening at 7 p.m., in the funeral home.
