Diana Crise Sperko
Diana Lea Crise Sperko, age 62, of McClellandtown, Pa., went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 26, 2004, at her home with her family by her side. They were comforted there by Hospice Care.
She was born July 21, 1942, in Masontown, Pa., daughter of Donald Beal Crise and Margaret Ellen Bowen Crise.
Diana was a member of Point Marion Apostolic Church.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She always put family and friends before herself. She enjoyed arts and crafts and making things for others.
She was predeceased by a brother, Donald E. Crise, a sister, Melinda Lou De Luca, and parents.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Joseph Sperko Jr. of McClellandtown; a daughter, Regina S. Sperko and fianc?, Dave Turner, of Uniontown, Pa.; a son, Joseph E. Sperko and wife, Melissa of Norwalk, Ohio; grandchildren: Melissa J. Sperko Ross and husband, Tom, of McClellandtown, Ayla Dawn Sperko at home, and Joseph William Sperko and Annika Cheyanne Sperko of Norwalk, Ohio; great-grandchildren: Shaylee Nicole Sperko and Tyra Lee Ross both of McClellandtown, Pa.; a sister, Mary Margaret Mays of Morgantown, West Virginia; brothers: William “Bill” Crise and wife, Sherrie, of Payson, Arizona, and Duane “Ed” Crise and wife, Cheryl, of Uniontown, Pa.; a sister-in-law, Sally Crise of Henderson, Nevada; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the H. DAVID McELROY FUNERAL HOME, 803 Main Street, McClellandtown, Pa., today, November 29, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. A short service will be held at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Ronald C. Paes officiating.
Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 30, in POINT MARION APOSTOLIC CHURCH from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Services will begin at 11 a.m. The Rev. David L. Corob will officiate.
