Joseph Molenock
Joseph Molenock, age 89, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Friday, November 26, 2004, in Uniontown Hospital.
He was born to John Molenock and Kathryn Kinnick Molenock on February 21, 1915, in Uniontown, Pa.
He graduated from the former Georges Township High School and also the University of Pittsburgh.
He worked at United States Steel’s Coal Division, Filbert Repair Shop, as a welder for 20 years and at Fruehauf in Uniontown until his retirement.
“Joe” was a member of Tent Presbyterian Church, United Mine Workers of America District No. 2, Local 1319, and was a life member of the Hutchinson Sportsmen’s Club.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Rhoda Jane Molenock, four brothers, three sisters and his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, SaValle “Sally” Hillard Molenock; a son, Joseph A. Molenock of Uniontown; a daughter, June Vicola of New Alexandria, Pa.; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa., where friends were received on Sunday from Noon to 2 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Visitation continues today, November 29, from 10 to 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Harry G. Wilson officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.
