GREENE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OR RECREATION and WANB Radio will sponsor a pancake and sausage breakfast with Santa Claus on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. in the downstairs of the 4-H Building, Greene County Fairgrounds. All tickets must be purchased in advance. For more information, contact the Recreation office at 724-852-5323. BROWNFIELD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, Willing Workers Sunday School Class, will hold its Christmas party at 6 p.m. Friday. Members are to bring a covered dish and gifts for games and gift exchange. Table service, meat and rolls will be provided.

AMERICAN LEGION, Brightwell-Daugherty Post 484, Fayette City, will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

CALVARY CHURCH, route 857, Fairchance Road, Morgantown, will hold a Christmas bazaar on Saturday form 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Baked goods, crafts and lunch will be available.

SOUTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA SLOVAK HERITAGE ASSOCIATION will hold its traditional Velija supper on Dec. 12 at St. John Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville. Dinner will e served promptly at 4 p.m. Pittsburgh Area Slovaks will provide entertainment. Tickets are $10 for adults; $5 for children ages 8 to 14. ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST BYZANTINE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 185 E. Main St., Uniontown, will hold a Christmas craft and bake sale on Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the upstairs hall, 201 E. Main St. Sale will feature decorations, folk crafts, baked goods, cookbooks, homemade candy and imported items. THE 4CS of First Christian Church of Republic will hold a used clothing sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday in the garage building. A $1 bag sale will be held.
