Betty Lepai Ottaviani
Betty Lepai Ottaviani of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2004, in Uniontown Hospital. She was born October 23, 1920, in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of Michael Lepai and Mary (Speshock) Lepai.
Betty was a member of Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, past member of Saint Mary’s Confraternity of Christian Mothers, and First Catholic Slovak Union.
She was a Committee Woman of the 2nd Ward in Uniontown for a number of years.
Betty enjoyed baking and was an avid dog lover.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Geno F. Ottaviani, on July 8, 1987, her brothers, George, Frank, and Michael Lepai, a sister, Margaret Lepai McKulka, and her parents.
She is survived by her sons: Robert A. Ottaviani of Greensburg, Pa., and William L. Ottaviani and his wife, Bonnie, of Angola, Africa; her daughters: Susan J. Fuller and her husband, Keith, of Uniontown, Pa., and Shirley A. Hnottavange and her husband, Paul, of McClellandtown, Pa.; her six grandchildren: Paul, Kristin, Keith Jr., Gina, Amber and Zachary; her great grandson, Avery; a sister, Mary Ellen Lemansky and her husband, John, of Uniontown, Pa.; and her favorite dog, Cleo.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC. AT SYLVAN HEIGHTS CEMETERY, A Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, October 4, until 9:20 a.m. when prayers will be said.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, North Mount Vernon Avenue, with the Rev. Father Micah E. Kozoil as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Mount Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown.
Parish Wake Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
