Donald L. “Dunge” Crafton, 68, of Stockdale, Pa., died Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, in Mon Valley Hospital Inc. He was a former employee of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Allenport Plant. He graduated in 1954, from Donora High School and in 1958 from the University of Pittsburgh, where he was captain of Pitt Football team during the 1958-59 seasons.

Surviving are his wife, Helen (Sue) Crafton of Stockdale; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Rick Cole and Mary Beth and Mickey Rudy, both of Charleroi; a son, Don Crafton of Stockdale; two grandchildren; a step-grandson; a sister, Dorothy Ashton of Berwyn Heights, Md.; two brothers-in-law, Nunnie and wife, Rita Milchovich and Tim Milchovich; a sister-in-law, Bunnie Sapko; a special little buddy, Sydney Smichnick; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., in the Ed Melenyzer Funeral Homes Inc., Roscoe, where services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, at 10 a.m.
