Kathleen L. Causey-Cale

Kathleen L. Causey-Cale, 79, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2004, at Uniontown Hospital. She was born May 15, 1925, in Greenville, S.C., to the late Oliver Earl Causey and Clara Gurley Causey.

Kathleen was a graduate of the New York City High School and the Julia-Richmond American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. She was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church and the Mary Betty Circle. She was also the television hostess for the Catchy-Scatches Show.

Left to cherish her memory are her four children, David L. Cale and wife, Lillian Gangwere Cale and Eric Cale and wife, Cynthia, both of Uniontown, Pa., Kathy L. Faix and husband, Jim of Oil City, Pa., and Donna L. Anderson and husband, David of Roanoke, Va.; two sisters, Lilly Holmes Berry of Schenectady, N.Y., and Clara Rosekrans and husband, Lance of Aurora, Colo.; four grandchildren, Michael Anderson and wife, Molly of Vancouver, Wash., and Charles, Olivia and Robert Cale, all of Uniontown; two great-grandchildren, Tess and Luke Anderson; and her “Kitties” Thomas and Amber.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, Pa., where friends will be received on Friday evening, Oct. 8, 2004, from 7 until 9 p.m. The Memorial Service and interment will be held at the family’s convenience in the Oakwood Cemetery, High Point, N.C. The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Asbury United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 20 Dunbar St., Uniontown, PA 15401.
