BROWNFIELD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, Willing Workers Class, will hold a soup and bake sale Saturday form 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hot dogs with kraut, sloppy Joes, soup and beverage will be served in the social room. Soup will also be sold by the quart at $4 each. Patrons are to bring their own containers for take-out orders. SOLID ROCK MINISTRY YOUTH will hold a car wash Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Advance Auto Sale, Route 21, Uniontown. Proceeds benefit the Christmas food and toy drive.
FRANKLIN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, Bridge Street, Dunbar, is holding a rummage sale, flea market and bake sale on Friday form 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. A $1 bag sale will also be held Saturday.
PERRY TOWNSHIP VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT will hold its monthly late night bingo on Saturday. Doors open at 10 a.m. Bingo starts at 11.
MON VALLEY BRANCH NAACP will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the Mon Valley Health Center, Eastgate 8, Monessen. Election of officers and executive committee will begin with the election of the nominating committee. Terry Watkins of the Greater Monessen Chamber of Commerce will speak on public services offered.
BOY SCOUT TROOP 687 will hold its annual health awareness screening from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Joan of Arc Church, Route 40, Farmington.
