NORTH UNION VFW POST 8543 Ladies Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Members are reminded to bring non-perishable food items for “Make a Difference Day.’ The bus trip to Wheeling Island is on Oct. 18. CATHOLIC WAR VETERANS AUXILIARY POST 1669 will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the post home. Plans were made for the turkey bingo on Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. in the post home. A memorial Mass will be held Nov. 14 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Aloysius Church, Dunbar. Fundraiser tickets will be distributed and dues collected.
U.S. STEEL PENSIONEERS will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Holiday Inn.
BELL TELEPHONE GIRLS will hold a luncheon at 1 p.m. Monday at the Holiday Inn.

OVEREATERS ANONYMOUS meets at 7:45 p.m. Sundays at St. Peter’s Church parish house, 60 Morgantown St., Uniontown. The group is open to those with compulsive eating habits.
AL-ANON, open to those affected by someone’s drinking habits, meets at 8 p.m. Wednesdays at Trinity Presbyterian Church, corner of Morgantown and Fayette streets. Use Fayette Street entrance.
