Jamie Lynn Bakewell of Brownsville and Aaron Michael Legarsky of Long Branch were united in marriage on July 24 at St. Hugh Church, Carmichaels. The Rev. John Bauer officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Bonnie and Jim Bakewell of Brownsville. The bridegroom is the son of Janet Tyrpin of Long Branch and Tim Legarsky of Elco.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Jim Bakewell.

Maid of honor was Stacy Bakewell. Bridesmaids were Amy Petrock, Julie Bakewell and Lisa Molesky. Syaney Seese was flower girl.

Tim Legarsky Jr. was best man. Ushers were Chad Petrock, Brandon Kelly and Jason Hager. Michael Petrock was ring bearer.

A reception as held at Becker’s Shady Side Restaurant.

The bride graduated in 1999 from Brownsville Area High School and in 2003 from California University of Pennsylvania. She is pursuing a master’s degree at Waynesburg College and is employed at Stahl’s Hotronix, Carmichaels.

The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of California High School and is attending California University of Pennsylvania majoring in education. He is employed at Big’s Trucking Co., Rostraver.

The couple honeymooned at Hilton Head, S.C. They are residing in Belle Vernon.
