Semmion “Sim” L. Friend, 78, of Dixon Boulevard, Uniontown, Pa., died early Friday morning, Oct. 8, 2004, in Cherry Tree Nursing Center, Union Township. Sim’s family will greet friends in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME, AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVE., UNIONTOWN, PA. (724-437-7555), on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m., in the funeral home, with the Rev. William D. Rodahaver, officiating. Private Committal and graveside services will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa., with full military honors accorded at the gravesite by the AMVETS Post No. 103, Hopwood, Pa..
