Catherine R. Bordash Bubnash
Catherine R. Bordash Bubnash, age 83, of Perryopolis, Pa., died Saturday, October 9, 2004, in Perryopolis.
She was born May 5, 1921, in Perryopolis, Pa., daughter of Steve and Anna (Kushner) Bordash.
She was a member of Saint Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in Perryopolis.
Her husband, John Bubnash Jr., brothers, George Bordash and Steve Bordash, sister, Betty Ann Bordash Bodnar, and parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by one brother, Robert Bordash and his wife, Denise, of Canandaigua, New York; several nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law: George Bubnash and his wife Hazel, Paul Bubnash and his wife Jean, Edward Bubnash and his wife Dorothy, and John Bodnar all of Perryopolis; and sisters-in-law: Mary Fisher of Perryopolis, Helen Wasmuth of Florida and Irene Bubnash of Mesa, Arizona.
Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC., 106 East Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa., on Tuesday from Noon to 9 p.m. where a Panachida Service will be held Wednesday, October 13, at 10 a.m.
Funeral Liturgy follows at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Perryopolis, with the Rev. Father Robert Halus as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Saint Nicholas Cemetery, Perryopolis.
Parastas Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.
