Debra May Stewart
Debra May Stewart, age 48, of Uniontown, Pa., died Saturday, October 9, 2004, in the Uniontown Hospital.
She was born March 12, 1956, in Morgantown, West Virginia, daughter of Arthur R. Stewart of Nilan, Pa., and Theresa Verna Stewart of Carmichaels, Pa.
She was a member of Saint Ignatius Roman Catholic Church in Bobtown, Pa.
She received an Associate (1993) and a Bachelor (1996) degrees from Penn State University.
She was president of the Board of Directors of Tripil Services Inc. and a member of the Board of Directors of Tri-County Patriots for Independent Living both in Washington, Pa., and Uniontown.
She was also a member of the ADAPT Organization for Disability Rights.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by one brother, Carl Stewart; aunts: Jenny Lukasik and Rose Verna both of Republic, Pa., and Alma Lint of Norristown, Pa.; an uncle, Jim Verna of Ohio; a niece, Carly Stewart of Waynesburg, Pa.; and many cousins.
Friends will be received in the LOUIS E. RUDOLPH FUNERAL HOME, 15 Main Street, Point Marion, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where brief prayers will be said on Wednesday, October 13, at 9:15 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in Saint Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Bobtown, with the Rev. Father Lawrence V. Holpp as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Garards Fort Cemetery, Garards Fort, Pa.
Parish Vigil Service will be held this evening.
