Theresa “Gladys” Hoover, age 91, of Ruffsdale, Pa., passed away Saturday, October 9, 2004, in her home.

She was born October 15, 1912, in Friendsville, Maryland, daughter of Anna M. Jones.

“Gladys” graduated from Bell High School Class of 1931 and was employed with The Celanese Company from 1921 to 1939.

She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Russell J. Hoover on June 22, 1999, and her mother.

Surviving are her children: Russell A Hoover of Drums, Pa., Roberta A. Hoover-Walls of White Oak, Pa., Robert T. Hoover of Hunker, Pa., and Rebecca J. Elnikar of Scottdale, Pa.; and five grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pa., today from 2 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, October 12, until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service with the Rev. Millie Martin officiating.

Interment will follow in Webb’s Chapel Cemetery, Hazelton, West Virginia.
