Clarise Thomas Crump
Clarise Thomas Crump, 80 years, of Princeton, Louisiana, and formerly of Haynesville, Louisiana, died Tuesday, September 28, 2004, in Willis-Knighton Medical Center, Bossier City, Louisiana, after a short illness. Clarise was born in Markleysburg, Pa., the daughter of Clarence and Katherine (Workman) Thomas.
She was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
She loved the outdoors and playing Rook with her grandchildren and other member s of the family.
Clarise was a member of the Eastwood Church of Christ in Houghton, Louisiana, and a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution.
Her husband, Eugene A. Crump, and parents preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one daughter, Katherine Bailey of Princeton, Louisiana; three sons: Ronald Crump of Homer, Louisiana, Donald Crump of Haughton, Louisiana, and George Crump of Shongaloo, Louisiana; two brothers: J. B. Thomas of Uniontown, Pa., and Robert Lowell Thomas of Lake Dallas, Texas; and six grandchildren: Tammy Thompson, John Crump, Kimberly Crump, Don Crump Jr., Chad Crump and Emilee Bailey.
Visitation was held Thursday, September 30, 2004, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the BAILEY MORTUARY INC., 216 Sherman, Haynesville, Louisiana.
Funeral Services were held on Thursday, September 30, at 2 p.m. in the Bailey Mortuary Chapel in Haynesville, Louisiana, with Brother John Billingsly of the Eastwood Church of Christ conducting the service.
Burial followed in the family plot in the Old Town Cemetery.
