Evangelist to lead revival services
Cove Run Free Methodist Church will have revival services Sunday through Wednesday with Evangelist Eddie Phillips, who is an ordained elder of the East Michigan Conference of the Free Methodist Church. He pastors four congregations and is currently pastor of congregational care and senior adults at New Covenant Free Methodist Church of Clio, Mich.
Phillips began life in desperate circumstances. His father died of alcoholism when he was only 8 weeks old and his drug-addicted mother abandoned him at age 9.
He has been a full-time minister for the Free Methodist Church since 1978 and served at more than 800 churches and 100 camps.
Services are 10:40 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. Cove Run Church is located at 345 Yauger Hollow Road in Lemont Furnace.
