Scottdale firefighter Rick Bricker hoses down the remains of Garfield Auto Body in Scottdale after a fire destroyed the business Wednesday. Police are investigating afternoon blaze that destroyed the shop located at 613 Garfield Ave.

“Right now were calling it suspicious,” said a Scottdale Police Department spokesman. No one was in the building at the time of the fire, according to the spokesman. Mark Bisher owns the business, but could not be reached for comment. Emergency personnel from Scottdale, Everson, Mount Pleasant, Connellsville Township and Dawson responded to the 3:24 p.m. fire.
