Thomas C. George
Thomas Charles George, 63, of Uniontown, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004. He was born March 21, 1941, in Uniontown, the son of Cecelia (Rokus) George of Uniontown and the late Mallard T. George.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Thomas was a funny and charming character. He was an accomplished musician and a wonderful entertainer.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Cecelia George of Uniontown; a son, Thomas George of Los Angeles, Calif.; a daughter, Susan George of Nashville, Tenn.; one brother, Mallard George Jr. and wife Christina of Uniontown; five sisters, Elizabeth Broda and husband Robert of Lockeport, N.Y., Maudena George of Pittsburgh, Sylvia Albright and husband Jack of Maryland, Victoria Risk and husband Alan of Uniontown, and Carol Ann George of Oxford, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC. at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, a Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, today from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Friday until 9:30 a.m., when prayers will be said. Divine Liturgy will follow in Saint George Maronite Catholic Church, Uniontown, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Joseph David as celebrant. Ghinnaz Service will be held this evening at 8 p.m. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
