Matthew J. Porinchak
Matthew John “Pretty Boy” Porinchak, 25, of Valley High, Ruffsdale, Pa., died unexpectedly Monday, September 20, 2004, in Bullskin Township, as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Matt was a contractor for Vesdage of Greensburg, and previously owned and operated the Brain Freeze Ice Cream Parlor in Delaware.
He graduated from Southmoreland High School in 1997, and was presently attending Triangle Tech of Greensburg, studying to become an architect.
In addition to his loving and devoted parents, John P. and Gertrude R. Mastowski Porinchak of Scottdale, Matt leaves to cherish his memories his sister, Melissa S. Ethridge and her husband, Shawn, of Newport News, Va.; his fianc?, Mary Kay Kreinbrook of Ruffsdale, with whom he resided; his paternal grandparents, John and Margaret Porinchak of New Stanton; his maternal grandmother, Gertrude Mastowski of Scottdale; aunts, uncles and a number of cousins.
Matthew’s family will greet friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc., 417 West Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. His service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Matt’s family suggests that memorials to be made to one’s favorite charity in memory of Matthew J. Porinchak.
