Sept. 24, 2004 Uniontown
Burglary reported
A cash register was stolen from Laurel Computer Systems on East Fayette Street early Wednesday, city police said. Officers responded to an alarm at the business at 2:07 a.m. and found the front glass door shattered. A number of computer products were on the floor and other items were found on a hillside along the railroad tracks next to Stewart Collision Service. The incident is under investigation.

Several injured
State police said Todd Matthew Tate, 25, of Dunbar and Robert Flint Driscoll, of Connellsville were involved in an accident on Route 119 near Richard Chevrolet at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday. Tate had minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital. His passengers, Mike Allen Tate, 20, of Dunbar and Erica Rebare, 17, of Greensburg, who were not wearing seat belts, had moderate injuries and were treated at a Pittsburgh hospital.

Man charged
Simple assault charges were filed against Michael Ray Campbell, 34, of Oliver for allegedly assaulting Jason Michael Murray, 29, of New Salem at 4:30 p.m. Monday on Jefferson Street in Oliver, state police said.

Man cited
A harassment citation was filed against Allison Sanders of Point Marion for allegedly grabbing Teresa Andrus of Uniontown and pulling her hair at the Goal Post Restaurant and Lounge, Route 857, at 1:32 a.m. Thursday, according to state police.

Diesel fuel stolen
Approximately 325 gallons of diesel fuel and an electric pump were stolen from a stationary tank owned by Quality Aggregates of Princeton at a construction site in a wooded area off a township road near East Millsboro between 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and 5:45 a.m. Wednesday, state police said.

Theft attempted
Someone tried to steal an all-terrain vehicle owned by Wendy Sue Swanson, 32, from her Dinnerbell Five Forks Road residence Wednesday at 8:54 p.m., state police said.

Window broken
City police said Joseph S. Evans of Lincoln Street reported that a window on his vehicle was broken at 4:50 a.m. Wednesday at his residence and that he saw a male running from the vehicle.

Machine damaged
State police said someone cut the lock off of a vending machine at the Perry-O-Motel at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday.
